The Illinois State Board of Education requires all graduate students in speech-language pathology programs to pass a Content Test. The Content Test (non-teaching 154) is taken near the end of the academic program prior to the educational externship experience. This is a requirement to achieve a non-teaching professional educator license to work in the schools in the state of Illinois.
