Minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WMST) is an interdisciplinary minor that emphasizes the study of identity and culture through women’s and LGBTQIA+ experiences and perspectives. Marginalized, these voices are often omitted from traditional curricula. However, since the early 1970s, WMST has generated a plethora of scholarly inquiry into oppressive structures such as sexism, racism, homophobia, ableism, ageism, and classism across disciplines, cultures, and politics.
A minor in WMST provides valuable insight and support to any field of study and, in turn, any of your future aspirations.
