Professional Background
How Long Have You Been at SIUE?
I started my undergraduate degree in 2019 at SIUE and have been here ever since. I started as a student worker in the tutoring center, then continued as a GA for the athletics department. From there, I transitioned into my professional career which started in Admissions before moving to advising. I became an Academic Advisor in September of 2026.
How did you get here?
Growing up in the local area, I always had SIUE as my top choice for university. Once I started school here, I knew I made the right choice. My experience here left me wanting to give back and make an impact on the campus, which led me to build my career here.
What are you passionate about professionally?
I am most passionate about working with the students. I love seeing them excited about their education, and I want to be a helpful resource for them during their time here.
What do you love most about working at SIUE?
Being able to enjoy the campus in each season! Seeing the seasons change on campus is one of my favorite things.
What are your primary duties in your current position?
I meet with undergraduate students and help guide them through their first years of college.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Where can we find you when you are not working?
You can probably find me spending time with my family, friends, or my two cats. I also enjoy playing tennis and pickleball in my free time.
