Applying to SIUE is easy. There are two convenient ways to apply: students may choose the SIUE application or the Common App.

All on-campus undergraduate students complete the same application, but admission criteria depends on your student type.

The Common App is only available to new, first-time (domestic and international) students in the fall.

Application Deadlines

Admission to SIUE is based on a minimum GPA requirement. Applications are reviewed individually on a rolling basis once all required materials are received. We encourage fall semester students to apply early – especially by November 15 for maximum scholarship consideration.

Spring semester — December 1
Summer semester — April 1
Fall semester — May 1
