Douglas Simms Douglas Simms

I finished my Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and in German at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque in 1997. My Master's in Germanic Studies was at the University of Texas at Austin in 2000, and I completed my Ph.D. at U.T. Austin in 2003. My areas of expertise are Germanic Historical/Comparative Linguistics and Philology; Old English, Old Saxon, Old High German and Old Norse poetry and poetics; as well as comparative Indo-European linguistics.
