About:
Bernice is from Ghana and graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography and Regional Planning. She is interested in using GIS and remote sensing tools to solve urban and environmental problems in land use/land cover, and wetlands. She would like to attain her master's degree in SIUE and become a GIS analyst to solve environmental problems across the globe. She loves to visit new places and explore.

Badoming Alidu
About:
Badoming is from Ghana and graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology- KNUST with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Rural Development in June, 2018. He enjoys teaching Geography as he was a Geography teacher back in Ghana. Badoming is always fascinated by the way human beings are molding the earth’s surface in their attempt to find a resting place for the ever- increasing population in the urban space. His interest areas are: Urban geography, Medical geography, GIS, and also curious about how rural areas could be developed by providing them with social and health services.

Iyanuoluwa Fatunmbi
About:
Iyanuoluwa holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is interested in researching the relationships between Green Infrastructure in Urban environments and microclimate, employing local instruments, Remote Sensing and GIS technologies. He is excited to be pursuing his Master's degree in SIUE, and he looks forward to his PhD, researching issues within and around his areas of interest. During his leisure, he likes to play table tennis or travel around the world.

Desmond Fosuhene
About:
Desmond earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, in Master of Science in Geography and Regional Planning in 2022. He specializes in utilizing geospatial tools and remote sensing techniques to address diverse environmental problems such as climate variability, urban land use dynamics, and more. His concentration spans all aspects of geospatial applications for sustainable development, aligning with his strong passion to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. When not immersed in academic pursuits, he finds leisure in listening to music and playing video games. Desmond looks to develop his academic and professional growth in geospatial science as he embarks on his master's degree at the Department of Geography and GIS, contributing valuable insights to the department's dynamic community.

Enoh Francis
About:
Enoh is from Nigeria and graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor's degree in Geography (science). She is interested in Climatology and Biogeography particularly Urban climate, climate change, food security and the use of GIS as a tool in solving climate change challenges. She is excited to take part in the STEPFY22 climate research as she progresses with her master's degree in SIUE. She loves to travel and volunteer.

Nathan Walker
About:
Nathan graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Geography and Economics. Originally from Milwaukee, he has taken interest in the application of data science and GIS techniques to United States urban spaces to develop solutions for social justice, socioeconomic, planning, and public health issues. A self-acclaimed "super nerd, when not reading books, winning board games, playing video games, or watching movies, Nathan enjoys disc golf and Ultimate Frisbee. He is excited to continue to evolve his academic and professional career at SIUE and contribute to geography as a discipline.
