Nina is currently the Costume Shop Manager here at SIUE. A cum laude BFA graduate of Webster University in theatrical costuming, she has designed and built costumes for numerous theater and dance companies over the last thirty-plus years. These companies include The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and the dancewear company- Imagine That. She specializes in dance and circus design, having worked with choreographers at Webster University, Washington University, COCA, and the Alexandria Ballet, and has designed costumes for Circus Flora since 2008. Her newest venture is Theatrical Costume Workshop. This is a costume studio dedicated to creating costumes for local theater groups and providing instruction for stitchers ranging from beginners to advanced costumers.
