Enrolling New Members Now!**
Sigma Tau Delta is an international English honor society for students of English that promotes service and sponsors social activities related to English language and literature.
English majors, minors, and graduate students are eligible for membership, as well as many students who have taken two or more English classes.
SIUE's Alpha Chi Alpha chapter seeks opportunities that foster all aspects of the discipline of English, including literature, language, writing, and education (see national Sigma Tau Delta website). In addition, our chapter encourages the growth of a social community.

- In addition to the experience of belonging to a vibrant, creative group, membership offers opportunities for service to the SIUE and local communities and for developing leadership and event-planning skills.
