What happens if I don’t make the minimum payment by the due date?

Students are officially enrolled and financially responsible for the payment of tuition and fees upon registration. To avoid late charges, and financial holds, please allow sufficient time to meet the payment due date. Pay online or mail your payment at least 7 days in advance. Payment must be completed by 4:30 p.m. CST if paying by web on the payment due date.

 A minimum payment is required by each due date posted. A financial hold will be placed on the student account if minimum balance is not current after each due date. A notification will be sent to your student account email that a financial hold was placed on your account. Once your account is current or paid in full, a notification stating the financial hold was removed will be sent to your SIUE Email.
