Other POS Device Settling Through NCR
NCR is the State of Illinois approved vendor for Credit Card processing, the preference for SIUE is that any POS Device accepting credit cards as payment settle through NCR. This can be done directly or via the use of an approved Payment Gateway such as Cybersource.
Other Devices/Vendors not able to settle through NCR must be approved prior to an agreement/contract being established. With this alternative method, the preference is that the selected vendor would be the merchant and be responsible for all steps of the transaction processing.
