Rob Warner
Vice President of Construction,
Drury Development Corporation
Professional Activities:
Rob has been a leader in the St. Louis construction industry for almost 20 years. Prior to DDC, he worked as a Project Manager and Director of Operations at S.M. Wilson. He was recruited to be VP of DDC in 2012. He leads Drury’s construction department including hotel construction and hotel renovations. Under Rob’s leadership, the department has integrated Drury’s historical practices with modern technology and methods while keeping the company’s growth in place. In 6.5 years, Rob has guided the department in successfully completing nearly 2,700 guest rooms including 14 properties in 8 states. There are currently another 1,200 rooms under construction at 5 properties in 4 states. This includes a $90 million hotel in Nashville and a $100 million hotel in Disney World. The department has grown in both project size and in personnel, creating nearly 20 new full-time positions.
Community/Personal Activities
Rob has always been an outstanding role model in the community. He is a board member for the SouthSide Early Childhood Center and has been for many years. SouthSide provides opportunities for children by providing education, health, and support services. Rob helped oversee the construction of their new facility. Rob also shows his dedication to developing and coaching youth through his participation in youth athletics.
