Course Description
Prepare for the PMP® Certification Exam - The Foundations program covers all Knowledge Areas and Processes contained in the Project Management Institute’s Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®), the basis for the PMP® exam.
This 5-day highly interactive program focuses on putting knowledge and skills to work immediately through a series of interesting and engaging in-class exercises. Participants are asked to put the processes and techniques to work in an on-going exercise that develops a comprehensive project management plan, including component plans for schedule, cost, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and quality management. Instruction includes processes, tools, techniques, and sample forms that support each step in project management planning. By the end of the program, the participant will have a comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay of project management processes and have a model Project Management Plan that can be used as a template for future projects.
Course materials include a copy of the books Process Groups: A Practice Guide (which is based on the PMBOK®) and Agile Practice Guide, as well as PMP® Prep lectures and unique study aids, and PMP® simulated exams.
