About Mrs. Henderson
Jaime Henderson is an alumna of SIUE’s Speech-Language-Pathology Graduate Program. She is a speech-language pathologist with clinical experience in skilled nursing facilities, private practice, and the university clinic setting. Jaime is licensed in the state of Illinois and Missouri and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her professional interests include language and language-literacy disorders and clinical education/supervision.
Jaime has served as the Clinic Coordinator of SIUE’s Speech-Language-Hearing Center for the past five years. Her primary role in the SLHC is to oversee the provision of speech & language outpatient services for local community members as well as oversee the clinical education of first- and second-year graduate clinicians for their on-campus and off-campus clinical rotations and community outreach events. Jaime is a member of several professional organizations and maintains SIUE’s partnership with a wide network of agencies and clinical educators. Jaime is extremely proud to be a part of the SPPA program that graduates highly qualified speech-language pathology clinical fellow candidates as well as belong to a team of engaged and dedicated colleagues, clinical educators, and researchers.
