About Mr. Masiongale
Tedd is a full-time instructor in the Department of Applied Health, program in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. He began his career as a medical speech-language pathologist in Morristown, TN. His clinical career spans nearly thirty years within multiple areas of practice across several geographical locations within the United States and Canada. He has served on the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Multicultural Issues Board and is a current member of the Continuing Education Board. He came to SIUE in 2015 and assumed his role as a clinical instructor, responsible for supervising graduate students in the SIUE Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic. He also teaches dysphagia (swallowing disorders). He is a frequent presenter at professional meetings at the state and national levels and is involved with various professional organizations.
