About Dr. Webb
Benjamin Webb is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Health. He obtained his Ph.D. in Kinesiology (Psychology of Physical Activity) from The Pennsylvania State University, his M.S. in Kinesiology (Exercise Physiology) from Kansas State University, and his B.S. in Kinesiology from Kansas State University.
Dr. Webb’s research interests include the psychological, social, and environmental influences on physical activity participation, with specific consideration for the role of community-based organizations in physical activity promotion. Other research interests include: examining the health and behaviors of clergy and seminarians; stress resilience; and the association between obesity and physical activity. Dr. Webb has presented his research findings at national conferences, including the Society of Behavioral Medicine, American Public Health Association, and American College of Sports Medicine.
