About Dr. Huff
Dr. Huff is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and the Department of Teaching & Learning. She serves as the Program Director for Accelerated Online Education Programs at SIUE. Dr. Huff is a former Principal, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Specialist/Coordinator, Dean of Students, and Science Teacher. She earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership. She also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and an Education Specialist in Education Administration, both from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was recognized as the 2015 SIUE School Leader of the Year.
Research Profile
Dr. Huff’s research interests include grief and bereavement in schools, leadership following the loss of students and staff in schools, and leadership preparation.
