About Ms. Lewis
Ms. Lewis teaches courses in the Educational Administration program. Before coming to SIUE, she spent 35 years in public education in the metro east area: Signal Hill Elementary School in Belleville and the Triad Community Unit School District serving the communities of Troy, St. Jacob and Marine. Ms. Lewis taught at the elementary and high school level before becoming a principal in 1999. The last 15 years of her public school career was spent serving as the superintendent for Triad. During her superintendency, she focused on creating a positive and innovative environment for students and staff. Her number one priority was always putting the needs of the students and staff first.
