About Dr. Thomeczek
Dr. Thomeczek teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Instructional Technology. She serves as a Faculty Fellow on the Instructional Design and Learning Technologies team. She occasionally serves on committees for student capstone research projects at the masters level. Dr. Thomeczek joined SIUE in 2003 after serving as the Assistant Director for Instructional and Information Technology Services at Indiana State University.
Research Profile
Dr. Thomeczek’s research interest focuses on the integration of technology in the PK-12 classroom to enhance the learning environment. She has conducted research on technology integration among special populations, such as children with autism and giftedness. Her work with teachers in the field has led to a variety of publications.
