Welcome to the SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School
The SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School (CHS) is a school-of-choice for families in East St. Louis School District 189. Its mission is to prepare students to be career- and college- ready upon graduation. To achieve this mission, the CHS and its staff positively impact the educational and economic lives of East St. Louis youth through:
- Individualized instruction in core academic subjects
- Exploration of career interests and aptitudes
- Assistance in realizing students’ talents
- High academic goals and expectations that graduates will become competitive employees for the 21st century
Our students access the latest technology, equipment and curricula in our STEM classroom and other STEM initiatives. The CHS serves 116 students from grades 9-12.
