Welcome to The Department of Teaching and Learning!
The Department of Teaching and Learning offers a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programs for teachers and those who would like to become teachers. If you do not yet have a bachelor’s degree, you can earn a teaching license while you complete your bachelor’s degree in one of four areas:
- Early childhood education
- Elementary education
- Special education
- Secondary education
Our graduate programs include:
- Curriculum and instruction
- Literacy education
- Special education
- Secondary education
A graduate degree, endorsement, specialist certification or post-master’s certificate can help you extend and deepen your knowledge and skills in a variety of areas. A faculty mentor will help you design a program of study to meet your professional needs.
All P-12 teacher educator programs are accredited through CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) from October 2023 - December 2029)
