The Emeriti College provides an opportunity for SIUE emeriti faculty to stay in touch with each other and remain active participants in the University. The Emeriti College provides grants to SIUE tenure/tenure-track faculty for projects that strengthen the academic quality of programs and that enhance the reputation of the University.
The College oversees the “One More Thought…” lecture, in which a current or former faculty member presents their thoughts, advice and insights about academic life.
