Welcome to Environmental Health and Safety
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Office provides tools necessary for campus population to act safely. This is achieved not only through educational and informational programs but also by internal audits and inspections of daily work environments for all departments. EHS holds everyone responsible to minimize risks, implement safe practices and proactively incorporate control measures. EHS assists with recommendations and technical consultation as prescribed by OSHA regulations, emergency preparedness and additionally aids in coordinating emergency response. Our role includes compliance with state and federal policies for environment, safety, and health.
