Pledge Gifts
A pledge is a “promise” or commitment by an individual or corporation to make a future gift. By spreading payments over multiple years, pledges allow the donors to make a larger contribution at a comfortable pace. To discuss pledge gifts, contact the director of development in the specific unit you are interested in supporting or contact the SIUE Foundation at 618-650-2345 or siueffinaff@siue.edu.
Recurring Gifts
A recurring gift is a way for an individual or corporation to make a lasting contribution to SIUE. Recurring gifts are an easy, automatic way to support the University on a schedule and budget that works for you. After the initial setup, your recurring gift will be automatically charged at the time and frequency you specify. Establishing a recurring gift is an option on each giving page. A comprehensive receipt will be mailed annually.
If you already have a recurring charge and would like to change your preferences, we can:
- Adjust your payment amount
- Change your payment frequency
- Switch to a different designated fund
- Update your credit card information
- Cancel your credit card in case of loss or theft
