Break Periods in University Housing
Residents in Bluff, Prairie or Woodland must submit a Break Request form in MyHousing if they wish to stay in during fall, winter or spring break. Cougar Village and Evergreen Hall are open during the breaks and those residents do not need to submit a request.
Break Periods 2025 - 2026
- Fall Break: November 21-November 30
- Winter Break: December 12-January 11
- Spring Break: March 6- March 16
Bluff, Prairie, and Woodland Halls close at 5 p.m. on Friday and reopen at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
The Cougar Village Commons Building and Evergreen Hall front desk have limited hours during break periods.
Dining Services will have modified hours of operation in most locations. Please view the Dining Hours on the Dining Services website.

Close at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025
Evergreen Hall Front Desk
Closes at 6:00 PM Monday, May 26, 2025.
Cougar Village Commons Building
Starting June 2, Cougar Village Commons Building will run on summer hours.

The MCT #17 Shuttle will run a modified schedule during the week coming through the Village once every hour for 30 minutes after each hour between 6:30 AM-6:30 PM.
