Microsoft Stream, now integrated into Office 365, offers a seamless video experience. This integration allows users to record, upload, manage, and share videos just like any other file, enhancing collaboration and accessibility across the organization.
🎬 What Is Microsoft Stream?
Microsoft Stream is the modern video service within Microsoft 365 and available to all SIUE faculty, staff, and students, and allows them to:
- Upload, manage, and store videos.
- Record content: Capture screen recordings or webcam videos directly within the platform.
- Enhance videos: Add transcripts, chapters, and custom thumbnails to improve accessibility and navigation.
- Share and collaborate: Easily share videos with individuals or groups, and integrate them into Teams, SharePoint pages, embed a video in a Cascade web page, or other Microsoft 365 applications.
This integration ensures that videos are part of your daily workflow, accessible and manageable alongside your other documents and files.
📥 Uploading Videos
To upload a video:
- Navigate to stream.office.com and login using your SIUE E-ID and password if you aren't already logged in.
