Jim Benhoff joined the University Marketing and Communications team in March 2000. He oversees the management and development of the University website and interactive media. Having worked in web development for 18 years, Jim brings extensive experience to his current role.
His career at SIUE began in university graphics and publications as a print and web designer. Jim brings an enthusiasm for design, web development, programming and project management to his work.
Jim earned an associate's from Kaskaskia College and transferred to SIUE to earn his bachelor's in studio art with an emphasis in graphic design and a minor in drawing. He also holds a certificate in designing universally accessible resources for the web from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a certificate in Culinary Arts.
When he is not at work, you can find him in the kitchen or working on his house.
