What are your job duties at NCERC?

What is something you enjoy about your job at NCERC?
I love working with everyone here, the people really make the job feel like less of a job and more exploratory in nature.
What does teamwork look like at your job at NCERC?
Teamwork is collaborating with many different core staff, management, and student workers to get the job done.
What is an interesting part of your job that external people may not realize that you do?
I think the most interesting part that people may not realize is the true interaction and collaboration of the team, and if one person is missing, our machine does not work.
Without disclosing client information, what has been your favorite project to work on and why?
My favorite project so far has to be one where we worked with GMO yeasts, this really intrigued me because of my background in microbiology.
What do you love most about your career field?
I love that there is always something new to learn.

I went to SIUE

Biological Sciences - Integrative Biology
What is something you enjoy when outside of work?
I like hanging out with my cat and finding the best Netflix shows to binge watch!
