SIUE’s FOTAD Presents Annual Dinner Theater, “Rent” on April 19
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Friends of Theater and Dance (FOTAD) will present its annual Dinner Theater fundraiser on Tuesday, April 19.
Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by an exclusive preview of “Rent” produced by the College of Arts and Sciences’ Departments of Theater and Dance and Music. This will be the final rehearsal and an opportunity to be the first to see the show.
"We are looking forward to the 2022 FOTAD Dinner Theater,” said Otis Sweezy, FOTAD president. “A tradition for many years, we have not been able to have our fundraiser for three years because of COVID-19. We are excited to combine an Italian buffet dinner at the Morris University Center's Fixin' restaurant with a great performance of “Rent,” which is part of the Departments of Theater and Dance and Music’s season."
Funds raised will support student travel to professional conferences.
SIUE students, faculty, staff, and FOTAD members and guests can purchase tickets for $50; all others are $55. Parking will be available for free in Parking Lot B next to the Morris University Center.
