Goal 5 of our Strategic Plan states that, “Building on our strengths, we will develop and nurture strategic relationships to effect positive changes in the University, region, nation, and world.”
Learning outcomes that align with industry needs, high quality programs and 21st-century skill development are top priorities at SIUE. To serve business, governmental and not-for-profit sectors, SIUE provides a wide variety of programs, experiences and skill development opportunities to students and the community. Partnering with SIUE provides access to talent, resources and services that allow continued economic and social development for the region and beyond.
Through forging strong partnerships with area business, the University had a total economic impact of $514 million.
