Getting Started with your Pharmacy Education
The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy follows a 2+4 model. This means that applicants to our program are admitted to the four-year professional degree program after they have completed at least 2 years of college. These first two years can be completed at SIUE. View the list of pre-pharmacy courses.
US residents from all 50 states are eligible for our low in-state tuition.
Freshmen who enter SIUE directly from high school may be considered for the Conditional Entry Program.

We encourage you to visit SIUE early in your decision making process. Community college and university students are especially encouraged to make individual appointments with the Office of Professional and Student Affairs.
