Dr. Stephanie Hunziker is a clinical associate professor with the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Director of Pharmacy Skills and Simulation, and Coordinator of the Eduation Specializaiton Program at SIUe School of Pharmacy. She graduated with a B.S. and Doctor of Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. After graduation, Dr. Hunziker completed a Primary Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Hospitals and Clinics in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Hunziker joined the SIUE faculty in 2018 after spending many years in various clinical pharmacy roles in Academia, Managed Care, Drug Information, and Industry. She was previously on faculty at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy at the OU Health Sciences Center, where she had an Ambulatory Care clinical practice site, taught in the pharmacy, dental, and physician associate programs, and graduated from the OUHSC Faculty Leadership Program. Dr. Hunziker teaches and leads skills assessments in the Skills Lab courses, coordinates simulation activities, and precepts students on the Academics Elective APPE. She also co-cordinates the teaching electives and P1 communcation course, and teaches in several other courses in the SOP curriculum.
