Brief Intro/bio
Dr. Deanna Seiler Joined Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy in 2025, and her current practice site is the SIUE Health Services Pharmacy. In this role, she provides accessible, patient-centered care to a diverse student population, with a focus on preventive services, medication management, and addressing the unique health needs of young adults.
Although new to SIUE, Dr. Seiler brings extensive experience in clinical project development, clinical training, and quality improvement initiatives. Her work has centered on advancing pharmacy practice models, optimizing workflow and patient outcomes, and mentoring learners in real-world clinical settings
Her teaching and scholarly interests include women’s health across the lifespan, chronic disease management, and health equity. She is passionate about preparing student pharmacists to deliver evidence-based, inclusive care while expanding the pharmacist’s role as a frontline healthcare provider and advocate.
