Dr. Sydnie Twillmann is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. After graduation, she completed a pharmacy practice residency at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois and received her teaching certificate through SIUE School of Pharmacy. She joined the faculty at SIUE School of Pharmacy in August of 2022. She currently practices as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at two HSHS Medical Group Family Medicine clinics in O’Fallon and Shiloh, Illinois. At her practice site, Dr. Twillmann collaborates with primary care physicians to provide outpatient diabetes and other chronic disease state management services. Her areas of interest include chronic disease state management, including diabetes, cardiovascular risk reduction, smoking cessation, and she is passionate about providing accessible and affordable care to the patients she serves. Dr. Twillmann teaches various topics throughout the Integrated Pharmacotherapeutics courses, she coordinates the P3 Fall skills lab, and the Diabetes Care and Experiences elective.
