Advanced Placement Program and International Baccalaureate Credit - 1K2
Advanced Placement
High school students who wish to seek advanced placement and college credit should apply through the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board.
This credit is not used in computing the grade-point average. Advanced placement credit granted at another accredited college or university is transferable to SIUE.
Courses for which credit may be earned through advanced placement tests, and scores required on the tests, shall be published in the Undergraduate Catalog.
International Baccalaureate
Students who wish to seek International Baccalaureate (IB) credit transferred should apply through the International Baccalaureate Organization.
This credit is not used in computing the grade-point average. IB credit transcripted as college courses from previous accredited college or university is transferable to SIUE.
Courses for which credit may be earned through IB examinations with minimum scores shall be published in the Undergraduate Catalog.
