Welcome to First Semester Transition (FST) 101!
FST 101: Is a one credit, 15 week, required course for all new students. This course assists new students in succeeding and engaging with their transition to SIUE. Each week, students examine a topic to help them better understand, succeed in, and engage with the academic and cultural environment at SIUE.
As students move through the course, they will understand why they chose SIUE and what the role and purpose of their education is relative to work and life. FST 101 is taught by a cross-disciplinary group of faculty dedicated to first-year student learning and success. We are here to help you succeed!
