LeRoy Rooker, AACRAO Senior Fellow and former Director of the Family Compliance Office at the U.S. Department of Education, will conduct comprehensive FERPA training sessions. He is widely considered the nation's leading expert on FERPA.
You will receive an in-depth overview of the FERPA regulations, including the latest changes to the regulations that impact higher education institutions. We encourage all participants to bring their FERPA-related questions to any session you choose to attend.

- 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM - FERPA Deeper Dive - Open for Enrollment Management, Institutional Research, and ITS Staff

Target Audience
This event is recommended for all University staff and faculty who interact, oversee, or administer student educational records. Also, these sessions are for any University staff and faculty who want to expand their knowledge around FERPA.
Typical attendees include: Staff from admissions, student affairs, enrollment services, IT, law enforcement, health and counseling, judicial affairs, records managers, the registrar's office, as well as faculty and administrators.
This event is offered by SIUE's Office of the Registrar at no charge to participants.
