SIUE Cougar Cards, discounts, and more, oh my!
Being a SIUE Cougar comes with an exorbitant amount of perks, like gaining essential knowledge toward future careers and one day joining the global alumni group. Being a Cougar also has local and immediate perks, too!
Take a look below for just a small sampling of current SIUE student discounts:
- Annie’s Frozen Custard- This local custard venue has two locations in Edwardsville. The variety of custard, cakes, pies, as well as chili and hot dogs, creates a buzz in the area. They always have a line of eager customers, no matter what day it is. Stop by regularly to check out their flavor of the week. My favorite flavor is lemon!
- Discount: 10% off w/ Cougar Card
- Crazy Bowls & Wraps - CBW provides nutritious and healthy options that are consistently delicious. Their menu options range from wraps to bowls; they have something for everyone. I’d recommend trying out the chicken teriyaki bowl.
- Discount: 20% off on Tuesdays
- Hair Saloon- This men’s salon keeps men’s haircuts and shaves simplified, yet traditional.
- Discount: $5 off regular haircut
- Midas- For those who have a car on campus, finding a place to get a service or an oil change can be intimidating. The people at Midas make it easy to keep your car running smoothly. Students can book an appointment online.
- Discount: $19.99 oil change and 15% off services
- Source Juicery- This local shop provides customers with cold-pressed juices, salads, smoothie bowls, smoothies, and so much more. My personal favorite is the PB&J smoothie bowl. Yum!
- Discount: 10% off w/ Cougar Card
- First to the Finish- Whether you are an experienced runner or a beginner, the staff can help you find the perfect pair of shoes to get you started on your journey.
- Discount: 20% off non-sale items
- Discount: 10% off accessories and running department, special prices on bikes
- UPS Store- For those looking to send or get packages from home, this store can help solve all shipping and printing needs. They even have stamps for sale.
- Discount: 5% off shipping, 15% off printing and packaging
- Wasabi Sushi Bar- For the sushi-fiends, this restaurant has many options. They also have noodles, entree and appetizers, galore!
- Discount: 15% off w/ Cougar Card.
- Edison’s- Looking to have fun with friends? Edison’s has a variety of arcade games, laser tag, bowling, and delicious food to snack on when you inevitably get hungry!
- Discount: 10% off w/ Cougar Card
- Dairy Queen (Edwardsville location)- This is a classic for SIUE students. If you have not attended a Cougar Tuesday, what are you waiting for? Join your fellow SIUE peers the first and last Tuesday of each month for half off chicken strip baskets, blizzards, and more!
- Discount: 15% off Daily, 50% off First and Last Tuesday
