Favorite Things About SIUE

I love the campus itself the most! Walking around campus in the fall has to be one of my favorite things to do. I also love how warm and welcoming everyone is around campus. You truly do feel like everyone wants you to succeed. (Just watch out for the geese, they run the campus!)

Advice for College Search

My advice is to think about who you are right now and who you would like to be in 4 years. What are your non-negotiables when it comes to the college experience? Do you want to go to a big school with a lively social scene? Do you want to join any clubs or get involved on campus? Do you like that personalized attention you can get at a smaller school? Think about these things and ask yourself if the schools you are interested in align with your goals and values. Also make sure to visit your top schools before deciding!!! Seeing a campus in-person can make a huge difference.

Hobbies

I am a proud cat mom to two crazy cats, so most of my free time is spent with them. I also love all things sports. I am a huge St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan (even when they test my loyalty). Other hobbies include spending time with my friends and family, playing video games, and attempting to keep my plants alive as a wannabe plant lady.
