Favorite Things About SIUE

There are many opportunities for a wide range of people, making it an inclusive space for everyone who calls SIUE home. The atmosphere of community and kindness that this campus brings inspires people to be their best selves academically, mentally, and physically. SIUE also has a beautiful campus that is situated in the woodlands. This enables the University not only to aid in sustainability efforts but also to have a nature preserve, the SIUE Gardens, and many trails to hike on! 

Advice for College Search

I would advise looking at all your options. If you are interested in several universities, take the time to visit each one of them. Overall, you are looking for a place that feels like home and fits your financial, physical, emotional, and academic needs.

Hobbies

My hobbies largely include hiking around nearby trails, spending time with my cat, looking into urban planning and historical research (I love to discuss how roads and bridges have affected community development!), and collecting any and all forms of pottery!
