Welcome to Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA)
SIUE has much to be proud of when it comes to our unique and innovative URCA program. Students from all disciplines, including the Arts and Humanities, are invited to participate. We also offer two levels of student participation through the Associate and Assistant options. URCA students gain priceless professional experience in the lab, field or studio while develop meaningful relationships with their faculty mentors. They also expand their curriculum by applying what they've learned in the classroom to real world settings. Additionally, each semester many of our students earn course credit and/or a stipend for their participation.
