Welcome to SIUE at The Wedge Innovation Center – Alton, Illinois
SIUE is deepening its community engagement through a new partnership with The Wedge, a 55,000-square-foot innovation hub and coworking space in Alton. SIUE will maintain a dedicated presence within The Wedge, offering specialized programming, research, and technical expertise through the School of Business, Office of Educational Outreach, SIU System Office of Community Engagement, and key centers including GeoMARC, the Center for Predictive Analytics, and the Center for Sustainable Communities and Entrepreneurship.
This collaboration supports regional priorities such as cybersecurity, sustainable energy, and food system innovation. The initiative reflects SIUE’s commitment to responsive, community-driven solutions and inclusive economic development in the Alton Metro Region.
