What GPA is required for SIUE?
Students with a cumulative 2.6 GPA (4.0 scale) or cumulative 2.0 GPA (4.0 scale) and a 990 SAT ERW + M or 19 ACT will be automatically admitted to SIUE.
The ACT/SAT is not required for students transferring to SIUE with 30 hours of college coursework after high school graduation. For transfer students with less than 30 transferable hours, incoming first-year recommendations apply.
What ACT score do you need to get into SIUE?
For incoming first-year students, SIUE recommends an ACT score of 18 and an SAT score of 960. The middle 50% range for SIUE first-year students is 20-26 for the ACT and 1020-1270 for the SAT. Students with an ACT score of 17 or a SAT score of 920 may be considered based on additional academic requirements such as high school coursework and GPA.
