Alumni Scholarships
The SIUE Alumni Association is proud to offer several scholarship opportunities each spring for the upcoming academic year. Applications are accepted September 1 through January 31.
In order to begin the application process, applicants must be accepted to SIUE and have received your e-ID and password. To apply, click on the link below and sign in to SIUE's online scholarship system, which houses more than 650 opportunities, and fill out the general scholarship application. Then, the system will recommend scholarships and awards you may be eligible for.
The SIUE Alumni Association Scholarship
The SIUE Alumni Association Scholarship is made possible through generous donations from alumni and friends of the University as well as through fundraisers and events hosted by the SIUE Alumni Association. Various amounts will be awarded to multiple students including one full-tuition and fees scholarship and various others ranging from $500-$1,000 based on funds available.

SIUE Alumni Association License Plate Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity has been made available through the SIUE Alumni Association as a result of State of Illinois SIUE collegiate license plate sales. Applicants must complete an essay question and must meet the following criteria: current SIUE undergraduate students in good academic standing, U.S. citizens, residents of Illinois and have financial need with a completed FAFSA form on file.

To begin a scholarship application, follow these steps:
- Log in with your e-ID and password. You must have already been accepted to SIUE and received your e-ID and password.
- Fill out the general scholarship application. The system will search for scholarships and awards you may be eligible for. For some, you will automatically be entered into the applicant pool and others may require you to answer additional questions.
Continue to check the system regularly as new scholarships become available at different times. Also, be sure to browse our “external” scholarship list that provides information and direct links to outside scholarship websites.
