Nationally Recognized Program
The Department of Philosophy is comprised of faculty having expertise in a wide range of subjects, from classic philosophical figures including Aristotle and Kant to contemporary issues such as the social-political dimensions of Islam and climate change. Every member of the faculty is a dedicated teacher who wants to share their expertise with SIUE students and the wider community.
