Jo Ann Di Maggio May is a Glen Carbon resident and earned a bachelor’s in business administration from SIUE in 2005, followed by an MBA in 2007.
Jo Ann has a small business background in the restaurant industry. Her brother owns Di Maggio's Pizza in Highland.
Jo Ann was a graduate assistant for the Small Business Development Center at SIUE from August 2005-September 2007. She also has served as an international business consultant for the SBDC’s International Trade Center (ITC). Di Maggio May’s other work experience includes being an assistant manager at Walgreen’s in Edwardsville, a personal banker for US Bank in Belleville and a mortgage default counselor for US Bank in St. Louis.

Matt Zuercher is an Edwardsville resident and earned a BA from Syracuse University in 1998 and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2020.
With over 25 years of experience across industries including high tech, financial services, higher education, and agency work, Matt brings a well-rounded perspective to every conversation. As a Certified Business Advisor with the Illinois SBDC, he helps entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of launching and growing their businesses. His career has been driven by a passion for managing and developing digital marketing programs, complemented by several years in business operations. Since June 2024, Matt has dedicated his expertise to empowering small business owners, and he considers this work the most rewarding of his career.
