Favorite part about her job: “The best part of my job is having the opportunity to impact student success through the management of internships and other career-related functions, while also serving the larger SIU System in efforts to scale high impact practices.”

Why did you choose your career path in career services? “I wanted to help students avoid the same “major” mistakes I made, and as a first-generation student, meaning, I was the first person in my family to go to college, I learned too many things the hard way. My goal has always been to make every effort possible to make differences in the lives of students.”
