The Career Development Center offers assessments to assist students in identifying career options. Exploration into students’ personality, interests, skills and work values can identify careers they may not have considered.
TruTalent Personality
Completed online
A personality assessment, TruTalent Personality identifies multiple dimensions of personality including introversion, extraversion, sensing, intuition, thinking, feeling, judging and perception. The information provided helps students increase self-understanding and enhances personal development by identifying an individual’s natural preferences, gifts, and talents. A unique format describes various college scenarios and asks students to choose the scenario they identify with the most, as opposed to working with word pairs. TruTalent connects students to careers matching their personality types and interests.
TruTalent Intelligences

TruTalent Intelligences helps individuals recognize their unique multiple intelligences, and looks at the following types of intelligence: bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, naturalist, spatial and existential. For an even greater understanding of each student, TruTalent Intelligences works together with TruTalent Personality to reveal different aspects of an individual's talents, gifts and preferences, as well as leading to the best possible career matches.
