For Black History Month, KMOX’s Carol Daniel is talking to people in the St. Louis area who are making Black history today.
For the first installment, Carol spoke with Dr. James T. Minor, the first Black chancellor of Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. He told KMOX that being the first Black person to hold the position gives him a great sense of pride — and a great sense of responsibility. Dr. Minor talked about his upbringing in Detroit, and how he made his way to California and finally to Edwardsville. You can listen to their full interview below...
