Visiting and Tours
UPDATE: Due to covid we no longer have open tours unless approved. Typically, once a family has accepted a spot for the semester we offer a tour during the new family orientation with the teachers. If you would like to schedule a tour before accepting a spot at the Early Childhood Center please give us a call at (618) 650-2556 and we will discuss tour options or send us an email at earlychildhoodcenter@siue.edu. We will update this section further as we monitor covid-19 and continue to follow CDC guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have an open-door policy for enrolled families, who may come and go as they wish. Families inquiring about enrollment are encouraged to tour our facility prior to turning in application. Tours are available any morning without an appointment from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville has an exceptionally beautiful campus, and we are fortunate to have access to so many resources. In our building and on our grounds, we strive to create a home-like, comfortable setting that is welcoming to our children, families, staff and visitors. From lighting to carpeting choices, to creating a nature inspired setting on our playground, we attempt to create an environment that complements our campus.
