Homecoming & Family Weekend
We are excited to welcome you to campus to celebrate the past, present and future of SIUE at Homecoming & Family Weekend October 11-15. This year’s theme, A Cougar State of Mind, will encompass programs and activities designed specifically for alumni, families and friends.
Homecoming & Family Weekends have previously existed as separate events, now we’re combining forces for what promises to be a truly memorable week for all.
Whether building your first relationship with the SIUE community or reconnecting with longtime friends, this is sure to be a week you won’t want to miss! First Annual COUGARFEST Block Party

City Park, Edwardsville
Calling all Cougar fans! Kick off Homecoming & Family Weekend in downtown Edwardsville with the
COUGARFEST Block Party! Meet the SIUE Cougar Athletic teams, take photos with them and even get autographs. Visit the Cougar Basketball booth to receive a free ticket to an upcoming home game. Enjoy amazing food truck eats along with free family fun, including live music, bounce houses and more.
Cougars Unleashed 5K, 10K, 1 Mile Run & Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, Oct. 14
9 a.m.
Stratton Quad
Join the SIUE Alumni Association for the eighth annual Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run; virtual options available. Registration is discounted for students and alumni. After the run, stay for a pancake breakfast and Eddie-Palooza family activities.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing at Eddie-Palooza

Witness the wonders of the cosmos at Eddie-Palooza with a partial solar eclipse viewing. Observe the sky safely with telescopes and free solar eclipse glasses as you enjoy food trucks, family activities and more.
Cougar Fan Zone

4-7 p.m.
Korte Stadium East Parking Lot
Join us outside Korte Stadium to celebrate and get fired up for the men's soccer game. Enjoy live music, food trucks, games, giveaways, the Family Fun Zone and parade of the men’s soccer team, including the SIUE cheer and dance team.
Men’s Soccer Game and Halftime Fireworks

Korte Stadium
Don't miss the action! Cheer on the SIUE Men's Soccer vs. Houston Christian University. The first 400 attendees receive an SIUE Cougars soccer scarf! And that's not all – get ready to be amazed by an extraordinary halftime show featuring a dazzling fireworks display. Best of all, entrance to the game is free!
